Fully operational HGV diesel engine rig, complete with fuel, cooling, turbo and exhaust systems. Based on a generic HGV diesel engine with mechanical injection pump. The system has manually-inserted faults that allow the instructor to demonstrate troubleshooting techniques on a fully operational engine.
Main Technical Specifications:
- Pin out facility on all electrical components using 2 mm sockets enabling 'real-time' values to be taken without compromising the wiring harness.
- Includes Fault Insertion Module (Ten faults, Lockable).
- Engine Rig mounted in purpose built frame with an internal sub-frame rotated through 360° by a 60:1 reduction gearbox once the engine ancillaries are removed.
- Rotating parts covered by mesh guards.
- Powder coated paint finish.
