Calling All Parents and Teachers to KIOSC’s National Science Week Event

Did you know that 75% of the fastest growing occupations require science, technology, engineering and mathematics skills and knowledge? Training Systems Australia is delighted to be involved in “Careers in Science & Technology”, an event being held by KIOSC as part of National Science Week 2014.

Throughout the day, hundreds of students will have the opportunity to see firsthand how businesses in the fields of health and medical, environment and nature, innovation and technology make a difference to the world we live in.

In the evening, a session tailored specifically for parents and teachers will be held to explain some of the exciting career opportunities available to students in the scientific, engineering and technical fields. Parents and teachers will have the opportunity to talk directly with businesses about employment opportunities as well as hear from industry and education professionals about assisting students to embark on a rewarding and lucrative career in science and technology.

The evening event runs on Thursday 21st August 2014 from 7.00pm – 9.00pm, and registrations are still open.

Training Systems Australia will be showcasing some of our most exciting technologies at both events, including Baxter Manufacturing Robot, Linkbots, Labdisc Data Loggers and more.
